Introduction
It’s easy to get your music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone. Here are a few different ways you can do it:
1. Use iCloud: If you have an iCloud account, you can use iCloud to transfer your music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone. To do this, open the Settings app on your old iPhone and tap iCloud. Then, turn on the “iCloud Music Library” option. This will upload all of the music on your old iPhone to iCloud. Once that’s done, sign in to your iCloud account on your new iPhone and turn on the “iCloud Music Library” option in the Settings app. Your music should start downloading to your new iPhone automatically.
2. Use iTunes: If you have iTunes installed on your computer, you can use it to sync your music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone. To do this, connect your old iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. Then, select your old iPhone in iTunes and click the “Music” tab. Make sure the “Sync Music” option is enabled, and then click the “Sync” button. This will transfer all of the music from your old iPhone to iTunes on your computer. Next, connect your new iPhone to your computer and select it in iTunes. Click the “Music” tab and make sure the “Sync Music” option is enabled. Finally, click the “Sync” button to transfer all of the music from iTunes on your computer to your new iPhone.
3. Use a Third-Party App: There are a number of third-party apps that can help you transfer music from one iOS device to another. One of our favorites is iMazing ($40), which makes it easy to transfer music (and other data) between iPhones without using iCloud or iTunes.
What you need
In order to get music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone, you will need the following:
-Your old iPhone
-Your new iPhone
-A USB cable to connect the two iPhones
-iTunes installed on your computer (this is necessary in order to transfer the music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone)
Once you have everything you need, follow the steps below to transfer your music:
1) Connect your old iPhone to your computer using the USB cable.
2) Launch iTunes on your computer.
3) Click on the “iPhone” icon that appears in the left sidebar of iTunes.
4) Click on the “Summary” tab.
5) Under the “Manually manage music and videos” section, click on the “Music” checkbox.
6) Click on the “Apply” button.
7) Click on the “Eject” button next to your old iPhone’s name in iTunes.
8) Disconnect your old iPhone from your computer.
9) Connect your new iPhone to your computer using the USB cable.
10) Once again, click on the “iPhone” icon that appears in the left sidebar of iTunes.
11) Click on the “Summary” tab.
12) Under the “Manually manage music and videos” section, click on the ” Music” checkbox. If you do not see this option, it means that you do not have enough space on your new iPhone for all of your music (see tip below). In this case, you’ll need to delete some files from your new iPhone in order to make room for your music (you can always re-download these files later if you need them).
13)Click on the drop-down menu next to “Sync Music,” then select “Entire music library.” If you only want to sync certain playlists, select “Selected playlists.” Then, simply check off any playlists that you want to sync with your new iPhone. Conversely, if there are any playlists that you do not want to sync with your new iPhone, uncheck them here. When you’re finished making changes, click on the “Apply” button and then click on the “Eject” button next tonewyour name iniTunesNew ApplybuttonEjectto proceedejec .
Setting up your new iPhone
One of the common questions that people ask is how to get music from their old iPhone to their new iPhone. There are a number of ways that you can do this, and we’ve outlined some of the most popular methods below.
The first thing that you need to do is to make sure that your new iPhone is running the latest operating system. To do this, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If there is an update available, follow the prompts to install it.
Once your new iPhone is up-to-date, you need to connect it to your computer and open iTunes. If you don’t have iTunes installed on your computer, you can download it for free from Apple’s website.
Once iTunes is open, click on the icon for your new iPhone in the sidebar on the left. Then, click on the “Summary” tab in the main window on the right. In the “Options” section near the bottom of this page, make sure that the “Manually manage music and videos” option is selected. If it’s not, click on the box to select it.
Now, go back to your old iPhone and click on its icon in iTunes. Once again, click on the “Summary” tab in the main window. In the “Options” section at the bottom of this page, make sure that the “Manually manage music and videos” option is selected. If it isn’t already selected, click on the box to select it.
Now that both of your iPhones are set up for manual management, you can start transferring songs from one device to the other. To do this, go back to your old iPhone and click on its icon in iTunes again. This time, click on 300pxthe “Music” tab in
Importing your music
If you have an iPhone that’s running iOS 7 or later, you can use the iTunes Store, iCloud, or purchased music to create a new iTunes library on your new iPhone. If you have an iPhone that’s running iOS 6 or earlier, you can use iCloud or purchased music to create a new iTunes library on your new iPhone. If you don’t have an iPhone, or if you want to use a different method to get your music from your old iPhone to your new one, read on for other options.
iTunes Store
The iTunes Store is a good way to get music from your old iPhone to your new one if you don’t mind paying for it. You can buy individual songs or albums, and they’ll be downloaded to your new phone automatically. Any songs that you’ve already purchased from the iTunes Store will also be available for download; just look for the “Purchased” link in the iTunes Store app on your new phone.
iCloud
iCloud is a free service from Apple that lets you sync music, photos, apps, and more across all of your devices, including both iPhones. To use iCloud, you’ll need to have an Apple ID and password, and you’ll need to enable iCloud on both of your iPhones ( Settings > iCloud). Once iCloud is set up on both phones, any music that’s in your iCloud Music Library will be available for download on your new phone.
Purchased music
If you’ve purchased music from the iTunes Store but it’s not in your iCloud Music Library—or if you’re using an iPhone that’s running iOS 6 or earlier—you can still get it on your new phone by synching with iTunes on your computer. To do this:
1. Connect both of your phones to your computer with their included USB cables.
2. Open iTunes and make sure that it’s updated to the latest version.
3. Select the “Summary” tab for each of your iPhones in iTunes (you may need to click the little disclosure triangle next to each device’s name in order to see its summary page).
4. Check the “Manually manage music and videos” box under “Options.” If this box is already checked, leave it checked; there’s no need to uncheck it and then recheck it again.
5. Click “Apply.”
6 . In the main iTunes window (not under any specific device), find the Purchased playlist in the sidebar on the left side of the screen; it should be under “Library.” Click it once so that its contents appear in the main window . Make sure that only songs are checked—you may see some albums or even whole genres checked as well; if so , uncheck them by clicking them once . Click and drag all of the checked songs into whichever playlist/songs-folder combination makes sense for where they should live on on your new phone (if you’re not sure , just create a playlist called “Old Phone Music” ) . As soon as they’ve been added , they’ll start syncing ; wait until this process has finished before unplugging either phone . When prompted , choose whether or not to delete these songs from your old phone ; unless space is limited , there isn’t really any reason not too since they’re already safely stored on both iTunes and /or iCloud (depending upon which option /s y o u used ).
Enjoy your music!
There are a few ways that you can get music from your old iPhone to your new one. One way is to use iCloud. iCloud is a service from Apple that allows you to store data, including music, on Apple’s servers and access it from any device with an Internet connection. To use iCloud, you first need to set it up on both your old and new iPhone. Once it’s set up, any music that you have stored in iCloud will be available on both devices.
Another way to get music from your old iPhone to your new one is to use iTunes. iTunes is software that allows you to manage music and other media on your computer. To use iTunes, you first need to connect your old iPhone to your computer and sync it with iTunes. Once it’s synced, you can then connect your new iPhone to the same computer and transfer the music from your old iPhone to your new one.
Finally, you can also use a service like Spotify or Pandora to stream music from the Internet directly to your new iPhone. These services offer free and paid versions, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs. With Spotify or Pandora, you can create custom stations based on artists or genres of music that you like, or simply listen to pre-made stations.
Conclusion
There are a few different ways to get music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone. You can use iCloud, iTunes, or a third-party service like Google Play Music or Amazon Music. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages, so you’ll need to decide which one is best for you.
Using iCloud is probably the easiest way to transfer music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone. If you have an Apple Music subscription, all of your songs should already be stored in iCloud. If you don’t have an Apple Music subscription, you can still use iCloud to transfer your music, but you’ll need to upload your songs to iCloud first.
iTunes is another easy way to transfer music from your old iPhone to your new iPhone. If you have your songs stored in iTunes on your computer, you can simply connect your new iPhone to your computer and sync your music over. This is probably the fastest way to transfer music from one iPhone to another, but it does require that you have a copy of your music stored on your computer.
Finally, there are a few different third-party services that allow you to transfer music from one device to another. Google Play Music and Amazon Music are two of the most popular options. These services both allow you to upload your music library from your computer and then stream or download it onto any compatible device, including your new iPhone.
