How to Add Your Favorite Artist to Apple Music

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open the Apple Music app. Tap the Browse tab. Tap Search. Type the artist’s name in the search field, then tap Enter. In the artist’s page, tap +FOLLOW.

If you can’t find your favorite artist on Apple Music, it’s probably because they’re not yet part of the service. But you can request that Apple add them. Here’s how:

1. Go to your artist’s page on Apple Music. If you don’t see a page for your artist, it means they’re not yet part of Apple Music.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Request Artist to Be Added.”

3. Complete the form and click “Submit.”

Apple will review your request and let you know if and when your artist is added to the service.

To add someone to your Favorites list:
1. Tap the Search tab.
2. Enter the artist’s name, then tap Search.
3. Tap beside an album or song.
4. Tap , then tap Add to My Music.
If you don’t see the option to add music, it might not be available in your country or region.

If you don’t see Add to My Music, tap , then tap Add to a Playlist.

If you don’t see Add to My Music, tap More, then tap Add to a Playlist.

Or go to an artist’s page, tap , then tap Add to My Music.

Find the playlist that you want to add the song to, then tap Add. Or, tap New Playlist to create a new playlist.

To add a song to a playlist:

1. Find the playlist that you want to add the song to, then tap Add. Or, tap New Playlist to create a new playlist.
2. Tap , then tap Songs.
3. Find the song that you want to add, then tap . Or, to add multiple songs, tap , then tap Select More.
4. Tap Done.

To add a song to your library, go to the song’s page and tap

To add a TV show to your library, go to the TV show’s page and tap

To add a TV show to your library, go to the TV show’s page and tap the Add to Library button. To add all episodes of a season, tap the “+” button next to the season. You can also add music videos, movies, and more.

To add a movie to your library, go to the movie’s page and tap

To add a movie to your library, go to the movie’s page and tap the price. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.

If you’re not signed in, enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Buy. If you’re using Family Sharing**, you can use Ask to Buy so that a family member has to approve the purchase first.

After you buy a movie, it appears in the Purchased tab of the Movies app on all of your iOS devices and in iTunes on your Mac or PC.
